Liqueurs are distilled spirits. It can be prepared with different flavors, oils or extracts. Liqueurs come in many flavors from coffee to orange.
Some of the most well-known liqueurs are; Amaretto, Chambord, Cointreau, crème de cassis, crème de menthe, Irish cream, Kahlua.
It was found in Italy in the early 13th century, usually by monks. Today it is produced worldwide. It is used plain or in coffees, cocktails and cooking. It is especially compatible with desserts, sweet sauces or fruity foods.
