Sugar can melt and burn immediately. Dissolve the sugar for a few minutes, checking constantly. Then add the baking soda and mix quickly until it melts and foams. Get a light brown mixture. Put it on greaseproof paper. Then give it the shape you want. Remove the pattern without breaking the candy. Then serve it.
What is the Difference Between Ppopgi and Dalgona Candy?
Dalgona and Ppopgi gained popularity in Korea from the 1960s. Dalgona is made from solid glucose while ppopgi is made from white sugar. Today, these two confections are used interchangeably. White granulated sugar is commonly used in both recipes.
