Tips

  • Noodles should not be overcooked, because they will continue to be cooked in the oven. So make sure you stop cooking the pasta just when it gets the al dente texture.
  • Drain the water completely from the tuna before putting them into the casserole. Or else, it will leave water in the casserole and the tuna flavor will be diluted.
  • Only use the best quality tuna for the dish. Make sure the fish is fresh and doesn't smell bad. Since it is the main ingredient, the taste of the tuna will reflect in this dish.
  • The noodles should be boiled just until they are not so soft. Do not overcook them, because they will become too mushy after baking in the oven.
  • When you use the cheese, make sure to grate them yourself. This will make the dish taste better and enhance the flavor of the cheese.
