To prepare healthy fruit or vegetable chips at home;

  • Use only fresh, ripe fruits and vegetables.Thanks to this, fruit chips become sweet.
    Thinly slice fruits or vegetables. Be sure to slice thinly so that the fruit slices are crispy. For this, you can use a mandolin slicer.
    Place in a single layer on a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheet to prevent the fruit/vegetable slices from sticking.
    Do not overfill the tray. Arrange the fruit or vegetable slices in a single row on the baking sheet. This way, all fruits will cook evenly.
    After removing the chips from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes to get more crispy.

There may be slight changes in the recipe according to the type of fruit and vegetables. If you prefer crispy chips, you can dry the fruits in the sun for 2-3 days before drying them in the oven. This reduces baking times.
