  1. Brew the tea, and keep 2 tea cups of tea in a jug.
  2. Add 1 cup of water into a large coffee pot and boil it. When it boils, squeeze the lemon juice and add it. Grate the lemon peels to increase the aroma and add on it.
  3. Add mint, lemon salt and sugar into the coffee pot and boil. After the sugar melts, close the bottom of the stove.
  4. Strain the mixture and mix it with the tea.
  5. Then put the jug in the refrigerator and wait for it to cool.
  6. Pour the tea into glasses filled with ice.
  7. Serve with fresh mint and lemon slices.

  • Do not use very hot water. Boiling water can make the tea bitter. Therefore, brew the tea at 180-190 °F (80-90 °C) for about 3-5 minutes.

  • Make sure the sugar is completely dissolved. Cook sugar and water in a small saucepan until completely dissolved. Then add it to the tea.
  • Also, iced tea can be made by either cold brewing or hot brewing.
