How to Make Creamy Egg Salad Without Mayo?

Sour cream or strained yogurt can be good substitutes for mayonnaise in egg salad. Using full-fat cream or yogurt will give the salad the creamy texture that mayonnaise provides. If you are going to use semi-skimmed cream or yogurt, replace half of the mayonnaise with these ingredients. To preserve the texture of the salad, do not completely remove the mayonnaise.

How Long Does Egg Salad Last?

Egg salad can be stored in an airtight sealed container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. After preparing the salad, make sure to cool it. This salad should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Otherwise it may produce bacteria.
