  1. Leave the beans inside a bowl of water from the night before. The next day when you are ready to cook it, strain the water, wash the beans again and boil them in a large pot.
  2. In a separate pan add the olive oil and sauté the peppers and onions.
  3. Add the stew meat, tomato paste, pepper paste, chilli flakes, salt, black pepper to the mix and keep sautéing.
  4. One the beans are cooked, strain the water to a bowl and keep it.
  5. Put the cooked beans inside the sautéed mix and sauté them together for a bit.
  6. Now put the mixture into a large pot with the strained water you have from before.
  7. Cook it on a medium heat and once finished, rest it for 5-10 minutes before serving.

  • Make sure to put the beans in a bowl of water from the night before.
  • The best way to know if the bean is cooked is to try a piece every now and then while it is boiling.
  • Pepper paste is hard to find so you can just use 1 tablespoons of tomato paste instead.
  • Once the dish is cooked, make sure to rest it for 5-10 minutes.
