Oven Baked Mackerel Fish

While spring is beginning to show itself, it means the mackerel season is slowly opening. Baked mackerel is a meal that you can easily make in spring and summer evenings and you will love it. Mackerel is a sea fish and it is a very delicious fish. Mackerel, a fish of about 30 cm in size, also weighs about 100-120 grams.   1. First, preheat the oven at 200°F
  2. Peel the carrot, onion and 3 cloves of garlic.
  3. Peel and cut the carrots to be as thick as a finger, slice the onions like apple slices, and chop the garlic.
  4. Chop the tomatoes in large cubes.
  5. Place the fish, carrots, onions, garlic, tomatoes, bay leaves on the baking tray.
  6. Then add salt, pepper and olive oil.
  7. Add lemon juice and 1 cup of water, cover the oven tray and cook for about 25 minutes.
  8. After 25 minutes, uncover and cook for another 5-6 minutes.
  9. After getting it out of the oven, you can rest it a bit and enjoy it with extra lemon juice on top.
