  1. In a large pan, add vegetable oil.
  2. Once the oil heats up, add chopped onion and sauté for about a minute or two. Next, add minced garlic, grated ginger, and cook until it is fragrant.
  3. Add ground pork meat and cook it for about 5 minutes. Break it apart using a wooden spoon and cook until the meat starts turning brown.
  4. Add finely chopped cabbage, shredded carrot, and green onion. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, onion powder, Chinese five-spice, white pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Cook the mixture for about a minute or until all the water evaporates. Once done, set the mixture aside to cool down.
  7. Take a single egg roll wrap and spread it over a working station. Place about 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling in one corner of the sheet.
  8. Now place the edge of the wrap on the filling and start rolling it until it is halfway.
  9. Fold the edges inwards and continue to roll the egg roll.
  10. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour with water.
  11. Brush this flour mixture on the edges of the wrap and seal it tightly.
  12. Heat oil in the deep pot. Once it is hot enough, add egg rolls and fry them until they turn brown.
  13. Once fried, take it out on the paper towel and serve with dipping sauce.

Step 3: Fold the corner over the filling and start rolling it tightly.

Step 4: Halfway through the sheet, fold the left and right corners inwards to seal the ends.
