  1. Take a medium sized bowl and add shredded swiss cheese, gruyere cheese and all-purpose flour. Combine all ingredients well so that the cheeses are coated evenly. Set aside this mixture.
  2. Take a cheese fondue pot, put it on low to medium flame and add dry white wine in it.
  3. Add finely chopped garlic clove and lemon drops in white wine. Simmer it for a few minutes.
  4. Then add the cheese and flour mixture in the simmering liquid of white wine. Add the cheese mixture in small portions. This way it won't be lumps.
  5. Keep stirring the cheese fondue while adding cheese mixture.
  6. Once all the cheese is melted and the fondue gets smooth, add salt and nutmeg in it and mix everything well.
  7. Best homemade cheese fondue is ready! Serve it with bite size apples and assorted dippers.
