  1. Peel the skins off the potatoes. Cut into slices or dice. Soak in a bowl of water with lemon to prevent it from browning.
  2. Peel and slice the onions. Set aside in a small bowl.
  3. Drain on a paper towel the potatoes. Then put the vegetables in the food processor. Process the potatoes and onions for about 2 minutes.
  4. Strain the potato mixture through a fine strainer or remove excess water with a kitchen towel.
  5. Then put the potato mixture in a bowl. Add the egg, flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the mixture. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Get a non-stick pan. Heat the pan on medium heat. Then add the vegetable oil. After heating the oil, gently spread a spoonful of the potato mixture into the pan. Add 2-3 pancake mixes to the pan, depending on the size of the pan.
  7. Fry each side for about 2-3 minutes until the pancakes are crispy and brown. Cook the whole mixture in this way.
  8. Before putting the fried pancakes on a plate, remove excess oil with a paper towel. Then transfer to a serving plate.
  9. Serve with applesauce, strained yogurt or sour cream.
