  1. On a chopping board, pat the mignon dry with the help of a paper towel and then let it stay aside at room temperature for around twenty to thirty minutes.
  2. You are required to preheat the microwave oven at approximately 450˚F (230˚C).
  3. Now, nicely season all the sides of the steak with pepper and salt.
  4. Heat stainless steel, medium-sized skillet over high flame for a good 5 minutes. Now, add up some grapeseed oil.
  5. Once the oil has started smoking, you can add the filet mignon steak to the pan. Now stir and cook it without even moving it for 2-3 minutes, until you see the formation of a crust.
  6. Remember to utilize tongs to flip the steak and then add Rosemary, butter, and garlic to the pan.
